About Us

Every year, hundred of films' copyright lapses into the public domain. At MIPDFF, we've taken it upon ourselves to remind the public that these films are ours to reclaim and use however we feel. Across the last weekend of October, we screen established classics and recently uncovered gems at theatres across the city to bring them to new audiences. Archivists, editors and the like will be especially interested in our deluxe package, which comes with a USB pre-loaded with all the year's films for you to sample, edit or just watch to your heart's content.
